Martin talks about working in the computer industry

Well I worked on the National Economic Model at that stage. It was interesting but I don’t want to big up my thing. I wasn’t advising the Chancellor or anything. From there I moved to work for North East London Poly, and yes I was there for a few years. Then I moved off and got a job in the computer games industry. I was there for two years then I got a job with the London Borough of Brent. I was moving up the computer hierarchy, so I was now a team manager. Then after that I got a job as a Consultant and I remained a consultant all the way up until 2002. The reason I ceased to be a Computer Consultant was because I largely consulted on the large old machines, the main frames.
