Marina on the variety of running a nurse clinic

I go into work at 8.30am. I work five days a week. I go into my room. I’ve got my own private room. I have my own patients, and I have a clinic. And I work from 8.30am to 11.30am in the morning. And I have 15-minute slots.

Then I have a break. I have lunch, and then I have an afternoon session to see my patients. But it differs because the clinics could be from seeing someone for a minor procedure like a smear or ear syringing, baby injections, travel and all different things.

And the very odd times you could have an emergency – someone coming in with chest pain. And you’d have to get the GP to see them. You’d have to go on and call an ambulance – but they are very rare. But it’s just clinics, but it’s very enjoyable.
