RS: I’m an Equality and Diversity trainer now. So I did quite a lot of that (that I really enjoyed that) face-to-face equality and diversity training and it’s a lot of fun. It really is. It sounds really awful but it’s a lot of fun.
DC: Does that mean you are called in by employers or trade unions, or…?
RS: Sometimes, but never a trade union – other voluntary sector organisations, big ones. I had to make sure they delivered it to their staff, so they could put that in the box. If they did anything wrong, well you’ve had the training, you can say that. And some local authorities, large housing associations – that sort of thing would buy in the training. Increasingly it’s home-based now. Very sad to say, just tick-box online stuff.
