Wonderful being part of Discovering Stratford Village in my own neighbourhood

The forums are bringing the community together as hoped, and even inspired residents to organise a street party event. The residents have started to bring intriguing material with them to the forums and I’m looking forward to the implementation of the training in this new phase, and how the residents commence in piecing their materials and research together with Newham Archive & Studies Library and ‘Find My Past’. We are also approaching the interview training phase. As evident in the Local Forums we will undoubtedly discover some unexpected and otherwise hidden histories in creating this new archive.
