Alison is confirmed as Community Development Worker

and starts her first day in the role with a meeting at Newham College, who are donating a   room for our monthly local forum meetings.

One of the tasks for February was to develop further the 1890-1990 time line framework, so that volunteers on the project can easily access the historical context for their research. West Ham (as it was then) is rich in labour history. There’s been lots of discussion on the project logo brief, and even more on assessing logo designs. Following recommendation from a supplier, we had put the logo design out to competition, and we were confident to be able to choose one of the two designs we shortlisted.
