A good relationship with Hibiscus Housing Scheme

Alison has supported volunteers recording two oral histories, and other Hibiscus residents will be interviewed in the New Year. We had a really professional presentation from a volunteer at the December Local Forum meeting on the Lost Streets of Stratford Village – a real sleuthing job, with lots of archive photos of street scenes – which engendered lively debate. As Christmas comes, relief that, despite senior management changes at Newham College, we have had confirmation that we will continue to have use of the room at Newham College. And that our the Newham Local Studies Officer will be back at work in January.
