The first oral interview takes us to a former carpenter living on Glenavon Road.

The first volunteer researcher’s talk took place on 11 July at the Local Forum concluding with findings on a Victorian house of Jute weavers. The interviewing and research programme has began, revealing some intriguing findings.

We have designed and printed some promotional project badges which have been presented along with old maps and Census documents in Stratford Village on a stool at a street party; attracting more resident participants and at the ‘Get Living’ London event in E20. Both communities have greeted the project with interest and enthusiasm to partake.
